8wt 4-ply rayon thread is woven with 3 strands of metallic. Sizzle is comparable to #8 perle cotton. 180yd (165m) spools. Sizzle™ is stiffer and heaver with a coarse surface that makes a "sizzling" noise when you run your fingers across it. This is the ultimate thread when you want to add a lot of texture, dimension, or eye-catching stitches to any project. Sizzle™ can be easily interchanged with Razzle™ and Dazzle™ in most applications, and is great for bobbin work, decorative stitches, couching, thread lace, and bead work.
