This pattern is called Patches and Rails. It is a great pattern for featuring a fabric that is a large print or a themed block fabric. 2 1/2" strips can be used for the rails as well as 5" blocks trimmed to 4 1/2" for the four patch blocks.this pattern is from Cut Loose Press by Cathey Laird. The quilt is approximately 42" x50" when finished.
